Terms of use

Last updated: 13 October 2026

Scope

These terms govern the use of tasks, a task manager by Squibble GmbH, Rossbergstrasse 30, 8310 Kemptthal, Switzerland ("Squibble"). By signing up you accept them.

The service

tasks is free. You can create workspaces, capture tasks and invite other people. Squibble develops tasks further and may change features as long as the purpose is kept. Paid plans, organisations and single sign-on are planned; they only apply if you expressly agree to them.

Limits

So that the free service works for everyone, these limits per account are planned: 10 owned workspaces, 10,000 tasks per workspace, 20 personal access tokens (for tsk, MCP, shortcut), 10 calendar feeds, 50 links per task. Squibble may adjust them with 30 days’ notice.

Account and credentials

You sign in through WorkOS and keep your credentials and access tokens secret. You can revoke a token at any time. You are responsible for actions under your account. Tell us at once if you suspect misuse.

Acceptable use

In particular, you must not:

  • store unlawful content or infringe the rights of others,
  • send spam or misuse the capture addresses for it,
  • overload the service, get around limits or security measures, or read it out automatically other than through the interfaces provided for that,
  • invite people against their will or assign tasks to them.

Your content

Your content belongs to you. You give Squibble only the rights needed to run tasks for you: storing, backing up, displaying and sending it to the channels you set up. People who add content to a shared workspace are responsible for it.

Availability

Squibble runs tasks with care, backs the data up regularly and monitors operation. We do not promise a particular availability or response time; maintenance, security measures and events beyond our control can cause interruptions. tasks is not an archive: keep important records yourself as well.

Liability

Squibble is liable for damage it causes intentionally or through gross negligence. To the extent permitted by law, any further liability is excluded, in particular for slight negligence, indirect damage, lost profit and data loss. Mandatory statutory liability remains unaffected.

Termination and deletion

You can stop using tasks at any time and ask for your account to be deleted; deletion directly in the settings is coming, until then an email to hello@squibble.ch is enough. Squibble may suspend or delete an account for serious or repeated breaches of these terms and tells you beforehand where possible. If Squibble discontinues tasks, we announce it at least 60 days in advance so that you can export your data.

Changes to these terms

We tell you about changes by email at least 30 days before they take effect. If you disagree, you can delete your account before then; otherwise the changes are deemed accepted.

Governing law and jurisdiction

Swiss law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. The place of jurisdiction is the registered office of Squibble GmbH unless a mandatory place of jurisdiction applies; consumers may also sue at their place of residence.
